The Nippers season is upon us and we are calling for PARENTS and GRANDPARENTS to complete an easy 2 night Officials Course. We need to supply a ratio of volunteer Officials of 1:8. The course is very simple and you do not need any previous Surf Life Saving experience. The Officials duties range from Time keepers, Counters (counting the same number of kids go in and come out of the water), Marshalling (keeping the kids in even lines), place takers, starters and a few more positions. The good thing is that you can Official your chosen area so you will still see your child/grandchild compete. I need as many people to complete this course as the more officials we have the easier it will be to share the duties and not have to rely on the same people at every carnival.
