We’re incredibly proud to share that our Club President, Kerry Armstrong-Smith, has been awarded Life Membership of Surf Life Saving Central Coast
This honour recognises Kerry’s outstanding dedication, passion, and long-standing contribution to surf life saving across the Central Coast and especially here at Umina SLSC.
A true trailblazer, Kerry has paved the way for women in surf life saving, from racing against the men before some female events were introduced, to serving as Umina’s Club Captain at just 18 years old, just 8 years after women could even join patrol teams. Her leadership, determination, and commitment continue to inspire generations of lifesavers.
