Registration Instructions

Existing Members
Online registration and payment go to the SLSA Members Hub

If you were a member of Umina SLSC last season, please click on the link above to renew your membership. This will take you to the Surf Lifesaving Australia Members Hub.

Note – There has been an upgrade to the Members Area so it will look different from last year. You will need to change your password and verify your account. Check your contact details (particularly email addresses and phone numbers) are correct, renew membership and make payment.

New Members
Online registration and payment go to SLSA Members Hub, click on Sign Up

If you are a brand-new member and have never been a member of any Surf Club before, please click on the link above. This will take you to the Surf Lifesaving Australia Members Hub.

  1. Choose to join a ‘Surf Lifesaving Club’ and find ‘Umina SLSC’.
  2. If you are joining a child, a parent must also join, so choose to join ‘My Family’, and give your family group a name.
  3. If you are an adult individual, choose to join ‘An Individual’.
  4. Please enter all adults first. At least one adult needs to be a member before you create a new child membership.
  5. Add in all additional details and create a username and password.
  6. You can pay online during registration

Important actions required when logging into the new SLS Members Hub

Update Your Password

When you log into the SLS Members Hub for the first time, you’ll be asked to update your password. This is because we’ve
upgraded our security systems and the old password format isn’t compatible with the new one.

Tip: For your safety, we recommend using a unique password for each of your online accounts,
including your SLS Member account, social media, and online banking.

2026/2027 Membership Fees

Nippers Fees

Ages: 5 -14

Must Register as a Family

Nipper Parent –
U6-U7 – $50 
U8-U14 – $50

1 parent required for all nippers from U6 to U14 unless the parent is a paid ACTIVE member

New Under 6 & Under 7 Membership – $115 (includes membership, rashie and cap must add 1 Nipper Parent $50)
Proof of age (Birth Certificate must be provided for registration of new nipper members)

Re-join Under 6 Membership-$115 (if repeating U6 from the previous season must add 1 Nipper Parent $50- includes new colour rashie & cap)

Re-join Under 7 Membership – $70 (must add 1 Nipper Parent $50-use colour rashie & cap from previous season)

Under 8 to Under 14 Membership – $130

Lifesaving Course Fees

On completion of a Bronze Medallion Course your membership you will be an Active Member

Existing Parent -$90 Member Joined current season as Parent Member and now want to complete your Bronze Medallion

New Member – $140 Signing up to complete the Bronze Medallion Course

Membership Fees

Nipper Parent – $50 (only able to vote at meeting if holds a club position)

Active Patrolling – $90 (15 years and over)

Active Reserve – $90 (requires club approval)

Associate $60 (Must be a min of 25y of age – may or may not hold an Award – only able to vote at meetings if holds an office position)

Award Member – $90 (holds current SLSA lifesaving award NOT Bronze)

Life Member – $0 (approved by Club only)

Long Service – $90 (approved by Club only)

Family Memberships

Under 6 & Under 7 can not be included in Family Memberships

Active Kids Vouchers cannot be used against Family Memberships

3 Members – 1 Patrolling + 2 children (U8 – U14) – $295

4 Members – 1 Patrol + 3 children (U8 – U14) – $370

5 Members – 1 Patrol + 4 children (U8 – U14) – $490

Extra Family Member – $75.00 each

Must be a minimum of 5 years of age to join and a copy of the nippers Birth Certificate must be provided on registration to Umina SLSC

  • Seniors – Any aged between 15 to 24 years
  • Opens – 21 years to 30 years
  • Masters – 30+ years
