Objectives:
- Achieve a strong position in Surf Life Saving sports across Central Coast, New South Wales, and Australian championships, participating in various surf and sand sports.
- Support the development of young people and adults, helping them build brighter futures through training and racing.
- Produce capable water persons who understand their operating environment and can create fulfilling experiences in aquatic environments.
- Build a strong club for the future by retaining young individuals, fostering a sense of belonging and accomplishment.
- Conduct regular training sessions to guide and develop aspiring young athletes, enabling them to perform to their fullest potential in competitions.
What’s Included:
- Scheduled and planned weekly training sessions throughout the season, designed to prepare athletes for targeted carnivals.
- Fun-filled development days during school breaks and weekends.
- Experienced training coaches to guide participants of all levels during their chosen sessions.
- Financial reimbursement of specified carnival entry fees when meeting the guidelines.

Supporting the Program:
We greatly appreciate parental support, which is crucial for the success of our academy. Parents with Bronze qualifications are encouraged to assist with water safety on Nipper training days. We also rely on parental support in the form of officials for all levels of competition on Carnival Days. To ensure participant safety, we kindly request that young athletes are not left unattended at training sessions without an adult present. Additionally, participants are required to wear relevant sponsored clothing during training sessions. All competition postings will be marketed under the name Umina United Surf Sports Team.

Our main goal is to build a strong club for the future by retaining young individuals, and providing them with a sense of belonging and achievement within our academy.
