The Australian Surf Life Saving Championships 2015 will include a Youth Championships to be held on Saturday 11 April and Sunday 12 April at North Kirra, Queensland.
The Australian Surf Life Saving Championships, known as “The Aussies” dates back to the first edition conducted at Bondi Beach in March 1915. In the years since, The Aussies has become a major event on the Australian sporting landscape, in the magnitude of the Commonwealth Games, and consists of a two week festival of surf lifesaving sport action including:
Australian Youth Surf Life Saving Championships, North Kirra Beach, 11-12 April Australian Masters Surf Life Saving Championships, North Kirra Beach, 13-14 April Australian Open Surf Life Saving Championship, North Kirra Beach, 15-19 April
Surf Life Saving’s pinnacle event and annual competition will take place in 2015 on the Gold Coast.
