Umina Surf Life Saving Club took the overall point score win in the Surf Life Saving Central Coast’s Rookie Challenge hosted by the Ocean Beach club on Friday, January 12.
Challenge involved teams of six Rookies, aged under-13 and under-14, competing in six events between 2:30pm and 4:45pm.
The events included a lifesaving trivia quiz, signals, beach relay, rescue relay, lifesaver relay and a bodyboard relay.
